Northern Territory Police have tonight charged a 25-year-old male following an aggravated assault in Bicentennial Park on the evening of Wednesday, 1 June 2016.

Detective Sergeant Karl Day from the Serious Crime Squad said Police allege the man assaulted two males and a female with a weapon.

“Detectives are continuing their investigation to locate possible co-offenders,” Detective Sergeant Day said.

The man has been charged with: 

• Aggravated assault x3
• Going armed in public
• Breach of bail
• Engage in violent conduct

He has been denied Police bail.
