Northern Territory Police have charged an 18-year-old female following an aggravated assault on a 28-year-old female on Friday 24 June in Alice Springs.
Detective Sergeant Deanne Ward from the Southern Serious Crime Squad said that the victim suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries after allegedly being assaulted with a broom handle.
The 18-year-old has been charged with:
- Unlawfully cause serious harm
- Aggravated assault
She will appear in Alice Springs Local Court on 29 June.
