Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following two separate vehicle fire incidents that occurred over the weekend in Darwin CBD.

Detective Senior Sergeant Rob Jordan said Police were alerted just after 8.30pm on Saturday night to three parked vehicles on fire in Shadforth Lane.

“A second vehicle fire occurred about 11.30pm last night, also in Shadforth Lane,” Detective Senior Sergeant Jordan said.

“While there is no evidence at this stage to suggest the two incidents are linked, this will be looked at as part of our investigations.”
