Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following an assault on a 64-year-old man in the early morning of Tuesday 19 January.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Dash said that the incident occurred between 5:00am and 5:45am on Nicker Crescent.

“A 64-year-old victim sustained head injuries and wounds to his arms.

“He was treated at the Alice Springs Hospital for his injuries which are not considered life threatening.

“Police are calling for anyone who may have seen anything on Nicker Crescent on Tuesday morning to call 131 444 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
