Call for Public Assistance – Assault – Nhulunbuy

Northern Territory Police are calling for public assistance to identify a male that allegedly assaulted a healthcare worker in Nhulunbuy on Sunday, 4 September.

Senior Sergeant John Worrall said Police allege the male jumped the fence to a staff pool area and assaulted the 23-year-old victim.

“The offender was last seen running towards the town centre,” Senior Sergeant Worrall said.

Police have released a COMFIT image to identify the offender.

The offender is described as being of indigenous appearance, tall and of slim build. He was last seen wearing a brown t-shirt with a yellow motif on the front, board shorts with light and dark brown stripes, and black rimmed sunglasses with black lenses.
