Northern Territory Police are calling for information following a vehicle fire in Karama early this morning.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said shortly after 1.30am, Police received notification that a vehicle parked on Vanderlin Drive was engulfed in flames.

“Luckily no one was in the vehicle at the time of the incident,” Detective Bland said.   

“Police are treating the fire as suspicious and are calling for anyone who may have information regarding the matter to come forward.”
