Call for Information – Assault – Nhulunbuy

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a healthcare worker was allegedly assaulted in Nhulunbuy on Sunday afternoon, 4 September.

Nhulunbuy Officer in Charge, John Worrall, said Police allege a man scaled the perimeter fence of a staff pool area before assaulting the 23-year-old victim about 2.30pm.

“The man then jumped the fence and was last seen running from the staff quarters towards the town centre,” he said.

The offender is described as being of indigenous appearance, tall, skinny, possibly in his 30s, with messy dark straight hair and no facial hair. 

He was wearing a brown t-shirt with a yellow motif on the front, board shorts with light and dark brown stripes, and black rimmed sunglasses with black lenses.
