Northern Territory Police have charged a 25-year-old male in relation to an aggravated assault at Lasseters Casino on Saturday, 6 August.

Detective Senior Sergeant Allan Milner said detectives from the Southern Serious Crime Squad arrested the man yesterday after he was identified by CCTV footage.

“Police will allege that the offender was involved in an altercation inside the Casino, which led to him being removed from the premises,” he said.

“The offender then assaulted a male in the carpark and smashed a car window.”

The 25-year-old was charged with:

• Unlawfully cause serious harm
• Damage to property

He was remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Local Court today.
