Three people have been medivaced to Alice Springs Hospital following a suspected domestic violence incident in Tennant Creek overnight.

Police responded to a request for assistance around 1.30am and St John Ambulance transported two males aged 55 and 57 and a 48-year-old female to Tennant Creek Hospital, all were suffering stab wounds.

Detectives from Tennant Creek and Alice Springs are currently on the scene and are calling for anyone who has information that will assist the investigation to please contact police on 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
