Youths Charged – Criminal Damage – Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police have charged five youths following an unlawful entry in Tennant Creek.

Constable First Class Eric Morrison from the Tennant Creek Investigation Unit said it is alleged the youths unlawfully entered the property around 3:00am yesterday.

“It is alleged the youths threw cans of paint throughout the house and caused damage to the windows.

“Police attended the residence and located the youths attempting to flee with a quantity of console games and DVD’s.”

The five youths aged between 12 and 15-years-old were charged with:

  • Unlawful entry
  • Criminal Damage
  • Stealing

They will appear in Tennant Creek Youth Justice Court on 25 of May 2015.
