Youth Charged - Crime Spree - Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged a 13-year-old male following a crime spree around the Darwin and Palmerston area.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said the youth was arrested on Tuesday and interviewed yesterday in regards to a number of property offences dating back to April 2015.

He was charged with:

  • Aggravated unlawful entry (x8)
  • Stealing (x13)
  • Trespass (x2)
  • Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle  (x8)
  • Damage to property (x5)
  • Drive unlicensed (x2)
  • Drive vehicle in a dangerous manner
  • Fail to report crash (x2)
  • Not stop after crash
  • Unlawfully possess property
  • Fail to rescue
  • Obtain benefit by deception

He will appear in Darwin Youth Justice Court on 7 August 2015.
