Alice Springs Police are investigating the unlawful entry of a sporting centre in The Gap overnight.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said the unknown offenders broke into the premises on the corner of Traeger Avenue and Gap Road at around midnight.

“The offenders stole a quantity of alcohol and damaged the front door and items inside the office.

“Police urge anyone who may witnessed any suspicious activity in the area between midnight and 2am or anyone with information to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
