Unlawful Entry - Nightcliff

Strike Force Trident Members are investigating a break-in at a Nightcliff business overnight.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said three men unlawfully entered the business, causing significant damage, at 3:00am.

“Three males have damaged the rear door of the premise attempting to gain entry before forcibly gaining entry through the front door.

“The males have stolen alcohol and mixers before leaving the area.

“Evidence left at the scene suggests one of the males received cuts in process of gaining entry.”

Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer said a person with hand injuries was arrested shortly after by Casuarina General Duties Police responding to a disturbance.

“The male was transported to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment and is assisting Police with their inquiries.”
