NT Police have arrested two youths today, aged 17 and 15, for stealing offences dating back to November in Yuendumu.

Senior Sergeant Michael Potts said Police allege the youths unlawfully entered two business premises on 5 November and stole a vehicle and other items.

“With the assistance of CCTV footage we were able to identify the offenders.

"The youths were arrested today.

“They have both been charged with:

• Enter building intent to commit offence
• Stealing
• Damage to property
• Unlawful use of motor vehicle – Reduce value by $1000

“They have both been remanded in custody to appear in the Alice Springs Youth Court on Monday 4 January 2016.”
