Suspicious Person - Darwin - Update

Detectives have released a comfit image of the person who they allege approached a 12-year-old girl on Gsell Street, Wanguri, on the morning of Friday 17 April.

Detective Senior Sergeant Bradley Currie said Police are asking anyone who may recognise this person or may have seen a person who matches this image to please contact them.

“We believe this person may have been driving a van in the northern suburbs on Friday morning.

“The person is described as approximately 70 years old, chubby, with wrinkly skin, blue eyes, white/grey hair brushed back and a white/grey moustache.

“He had a scar over his left eyebrow and had blisters on his shoulders and the back of his hands.

“He was wearing a grey or white singlet and spoke with a deep voice.

“The vehicle is described as a white Toyota van with a sliding door.

“The van has rust on the bonnet and on the side where the sliding door is located.

“On the side of the van there was black writing that was peeling off, the driver's side window was tinted and there was a cage type cargo barrier behind the seats.”
