Major Crime Squad Detectives continue to investigate the suspicious death of a 22-year-old male in Nightcliff overnight.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Tony Henrys said a crime scene was still in place while forensic analysis is undertaken.

“Police continue to call for any witnesses to this incident or anyone who may have seen a disturbance or an injured person on the bike path in the vicinity of the intersection of Trower Road and Progress Drive.

“In particular we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area between 9.00pm and 11.00pm on Thursday evening, 12 February.”
