Strike Force Vega Detectives have charged two men aged 20 and 31 following an unlawful entry at a licensed premises in Alice Springs CBD.

Detective Superintendent Brent Warren said the two men allegedly entered the venue on Todd Street early Saturday morning.

“Police allege the men stole around $400 worth of alcohol and caused around $300 worth of damage to the premises.

“The pair were located by Police a short time later and arrested. They were charged with aggravated unlawful entry, criminal damage and stealing.”

They will both appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court today.
