“A short time later, CCTV Operators sighted the three alleged offenders returning to the area looking for the vehicle.

“General Duties members were called and the trio were arrested a short time later.”

Two men aged 18 and 20 were charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

A third male was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, drive in a dangerous manner and possess stolen property.

They will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 2 June.
