Stealing Charges - Alice Springs

A 46-year-old female has been remanded in custody following her extradition from WA to Alice Springs.

Commander Brent Warren said the woman was wanted by NT Police for charges in relation to stealing from a Coolalinga business in 2005.

“The woman appeared in the Alice Springs Magistrate Court in April 2006, she failed to appear at her next mention date and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

“In April 2011 she surrendered herself to Alice Springs Police, bailed until May she again failed to appear and had been avoiding detection until she was identified by WA Police living in Mandurah.

“She appeared in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court yesterday and was remanded in custody until 23 July 2015.”
