Detectives from the Sex Crime Division have arrested a 49-year-old man in relation to a number of sexual assault offences.

Detective Senior Sergeant Janelle Tonkin said Police allege the man sexually assaulted two youths and indecently assaulted a 48-year-old woman at Casuarina Shopping Centre between 5:30pm and 6:00pm yesterday.

“The man was arrested by Transit Security at 6:00pm in the vicinity of the Casuarina Bus Exchange and remains in Police custody, to be charged later today.

“Police urge anyone who may have been in the area yesterday and witness any of these incidents to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
