Police are seeking public assistance in locating 30-year-old man, Matthew Edwards.

Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Malley said Mr Edwards may be able to assist Police in relation to an alleged aggravated assault in Alice Springs on 9 July and an alleged assault in South Australia on 16 February.

“He is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, slim build, approximately 180cm tall, with brown hair and facial hair.

“Police believe he may have returned to the APY Lands, anyone with any information about Mr Edwards whereabouts is urged to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
