Police Arrest Man - Alice Springs

Detectives from the Southern Investigation Unit have arrested a 23-year-old man allegedly attempting to break into a licensed restaurant in Alice Springs.

Detective Superintendent Brent Warren said the alleged offender attempted to unlawfully enter the premises on Stotts Terrace at around 10:45pm on Tuesday.

“Police members were present at the location at the time of the attempted break in and arrested the man.

“He has been charged with attempted unlawful entry, was remanded in custody, and will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court today.

“This was a good arrest by Police and we will continue to be proactive in policing operations across Alice Springs.”
