Man Charged – Unlawful Entry – Ludmilla

Strike Force Trident have charged a 34-year-old man following an unlawful entry at a sporting complex in Ludmilla.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said Police will allege the man unlawfully entered the sporting complex on 30 August 2015 and caused significant damage to the premises.

“Yesterday Police conducted a traffic apprehension of a man riding a stolen scooter under the suspected influence of drugs.

“He was arrested and conveyed to Darwin Hospital where he provided a blood sample. This DNA sample linked the man to forensic evidence left at the Ludmilla unlawful entry.

He was charged with:

  • Unlawful entry
  • Aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle
  • Drug driving
  • Possess thing to administer drug

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
