Strike Force Vega charged a 19-year-old man yesterday following a series of unlawful entries in Sadadeen.
Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said Police allege the man unlawfully entered several private residences and vehicles overnight on 30 November, stealing a multitude of items.
“Altogether, the man broke into six different properties and vehicles, stealing various items including an iPad, mountain bike, wallets and a smart phone.
“He was arrested at about 7:50am on Tuesday 8 December and conveyed to the Alice Springs Watch House.”
He was charged with:
- Unlawful entry x 3
- Stealing x 4
- Damage property x 4
- Trespass x 3
He will appear in Alice Springs Magistrates Court today.
“This is a fantastic result for Strike Force Vega and a friendly reminder to all offenders that we will catch up with you sooner or later,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Malley.
