Police have arrested and charged a 24-year-old Darwin man with recklessly endangering life and driving in a dangerous manner.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Karl Day from the Serious Crime Squad said the arrest came after an incident on Sunday night where a firearm was allegedly discharged during a confrontation.

“The alleged offender was arrested yesterday afternoon at a business premises in Winnellie with the assistance of the Territory Response Group.”

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
