Northern Territory Police have charged a 44-year-old male following an incident that occurred at Berry Springs Nature Reserve yesterday.

He has been charged with:

• Aggravated assault
• Sexual intercourse with a child under 16 years.

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 17 July 2015.
