Interstate Target Arrested - Parap

At approximately 2:00pm today, Drug and Organised Crime Officers, assisted by the Territory Response Group arrested a 26-year-old male at an apartment in Parap.

Acting Superintendent Clint Sims said the male was arrested in relation to interstate warrants, including breach of bail and violence offences.

“He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 19 August 2015, where an application will be made for his extradition to Queensland.

“Further, a search warrant was conducted at the apartment. Police located approximately 14 grams of methamphetamines, a small quantity of cannabis and approximately $7,000 in cash.

"A 26-year-old female was arrested and is to be charged with possession of a schedule 1 and schedule 2 dangerous drug."

She will be bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court at a later date.
