Fugitive – Alice Springs – Update

Police

Northern Territory Police continue to search for Peter Michael Kamm in the Alice Springs area.

“The public is asked to keep an eye out and contact Police immediately if sighted,” Superintendent Travis Wurst said.

Police spent today looking for Kamm in the Alice Springs area, attending all transport terminals and speaking with the public.

Kamm is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 50 years old, and of medium build. He has short brown hair, brown eyes and an earring in his left ear. He was last seen in the vicinity of the McDonnell Range Caravan Park.

“Mr Kamm was paroled in July 2015 and has up until this weekend been fully compliant with his parole conditions. On Saturday night he was issued with a Drug Infringement Notice for possession of a small amount of cannabis, and as a result his parole was revoked,” Supt Wurst said.

“He has removed the electronic monitoring device that formed part of his parole conditions and remains at large.

“We would also appeal to Mr Kamm at this point to hand himself into Police, whether he is still in Alice Springs or if he has left the area.”

The public are advised not to approach Kamm, but to call Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 immediately. In an emergency, call 000.
