Detectives from the Major Fraud Unit have charged a 75 year-old man with stealing in relation to an incident in 2010.

 Senior Constable Susan Campbell said the man allegedly stole $25,000 from a customer when he owned a Darwin marine business.

“Police will allege the man sold a boat to a third party for the customer however the customer never received the proceeds of the sale.

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on the 26 May.
