The Territory road toll has risen to 35 following the death of a 18 year-old male from a two car collision early this morning.
Commander Michael Murphy said Police responded to the crash just after 3:00am.
“It is alleged that a white Holden Commodore entered the intersection of the Stuart Highway, Howard Springs Road and Lambrick Avenue before colliding with a four wheel drive Jeep.
“Two males and a female occupant of the Commodore and the male driver of the Jeep were taken to Royal Darwin Hospital with serious injuries.
“Tragically a male occupant of the Commodore passed away.
“One male remains in a critical condition.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
