A man has died following a crash near Berry Springs this afternoon.

Territory Duty Superintendent Bob Harrison said Police are currently investigating the single vehicle motor accident that occurred on Finn Road at approximately 6:00pm.

“The circumstances being that a blue Toyota hatchback has left the roadway and struck a tree. However, the cause of the accident is unknown at this time”.

 A file will be prepared for the Coroner.

The Northern Territory road toll now stands at six.
