A 68-year-old Tennant Creek man has passed away from his injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident yesterday morning.
Acting Territory Duty Superintendent Brendan Muldoon said the man was the driver of a Holden Astra which struck a bull on the Barkley Highway in the early hours of yesterday morning.
“His 35-year-old male passenger passed away at the scene. The driver was airlifted to Alice Springs Hospital but tragically passed away overnight.”
The Territory road toll now stands at 22.
