A 26-year-old man taken to Royal Darwin Hospital after exiting a moving car at the roundabout on Lee Point Road / Vanderlin Drive about 4.30am Saturday has died.

The circumstances surrounding the lead up to the incident remain under investigation.

A file will now be prepared for the Coroner.
