Northern Territory Police are investigating the death of a 17-year-old female in Epenarra yesterday.

Duty Superintendent Brendan Muldoon said at 2:30pm yesterday the female died after being struck by a vehicle on a private property.

An 18-year-old woman is assisting with enquiries into this tragic incident.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
