A 16-year-old male has been charged with a number of property offences following an alleged crime spree in Durack.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said Police allege the youth unlawfully entered six residences on 20 April and stole around $5,000 worth of property.
“Stolen items included wallets, handbags, vehicle keys, push bikes and fishing gear.
“The youth was arrested by Police in Berrimah yesterday.”
He was charged with:
Aggravated unlawful entry (x5)
Stealing (x4)
Attempt to commit a crime
Damage to property
He will appear in Darwin Youth Justice Court today.
