Child Abuse Material - Man Charged - Darwin

Constable First Class Byron May of the Online Child Exploitation Investigation Unit said Police executed a search warrant at a residence in Darwin on Friday evening.

"Police seized eight data storage devices and located an elaborate hydroponic system. Police also seized two kilograms of cannabis and steroids."

The man was arrested and charged with:

Use carrier service for child pornography

Possess child abuse material

Cultivate a prohibited plan - cannabis

Possess cannabis - commercial quantity

Possess dangerous drug - schedule 2

He was remanded in custody and will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
