Police have charged a 67-year-old man in relation to alleged child abuse offences.

Detective Senior Constable Alan Wellfair from the Child Abuse Taskforce, said Police executed a search warrant at a residence in Palmerston on Friday 15 May 2015.

Items seized included computers and hard drives.

The man was arrested and charged with:

Sexual intercourse with a child under 16 years (x7)

Sexual intercourse with a child under 10 years (x7)

Indecent dealing with a child under 16 years

Indecent dealing with a child under 10 years (x8)

Maintain a sexual relationship with a child (x2)

Expose child to indecent material (x2)

He was remanded in custody and will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today.
