Detectives from the Major Crime Squad have charged two males, aged 16 and 18, in relation to the death of a 53-year-old man in Yuendumu on Thursday.

Both males have been charged with murder, arson, aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing.

The two males are to appear in the Alice Springs Court today.
