Police are continuing to conduct investigations into the hit and run crash that occurred on New Year’s morning.

Acting Senior Sergeant Mark Casey from the Major Crash Investigation Section said Police would specifically like to speak with anyone who was on Tiger Brennan Drive between the hours of 3.45am and 4.15am on 1 January.

“Anyone who may have been walking, driving or riding on Tiger Brennan Drive at that time should contact Police.

“The victim, 19-year-old Jarrod Sallis remains in a serious condition at the Royal Darwin Hospital.

“At this stage the driver has not yet made contact with Police.

“Evidence is currently being examined by forensic experts and a list of vehicles in the area at the time of crash is being compiled.

“Police are urging anyone who may have any information in relation to the incident or the vehicle involved to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
