Call for Witnesses - Alice Springs

Police

Police are seeking public assistance to identify a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries relating to the graffiti and damage to Araluen Arts Centre, Araluen and Gillen on Saturday night 4 April.

Superintendent Travis Wurst said there were five separate reports of paint being sprayed on Saturday night with 'tags' being painted on various buildings and cars in the area.

“Araluen Arts Centre was the hardest hit with graffiti across several walls, benches and glasses doors. The clean-up cost may reach into the thousands of dollars,” Superintendent Wurst said.

Alice Springs Police have released CCTV images showing the persons they wish to speak with.

If you recognise anyone in these images or have any information of these incidences, contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
