Call for Public Assistance - Stolen Firearms - Berrimah

Northern Territory Police are calling for public assistance following the theft of four firearms.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said the firearms were reported missing from a premises in Berrimah.

“It appears that the premises has been unlawfully entered between Friday 31 July and Tuesday August 4 2015.

“Yesterday the owner noticed the firearms were missing and contacted Police.”

The firearms are described as:

  • 12 gauge Boito shotgun
  • 670 Winchester bolt action rifle
  • 12 gauge Boito single barrel shot gun
  • .22 Bruno bolt action rifle

“We are extremely keen to locate these firearms and take them off the streets,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Stringer.
