Call for Public Assistance - Stealing - Alice Springs

Alice Springs Police are investigating the theft of a credit card in Alice Springs.

Detective Superintendent Travis Wurst said that a wallet was reported lost on Wilkinson St on 11 November.

“It is alleged that the credit card from this wallet was used by the offender at various outlets in Alice Springs over a 24-hour period.

“CCTV footage depicts the offender purchasing assorted items with the complainant’s credit card.

“The offender is described as Indigenous in appearance with curly black hair and a moustache with a trimmed beard. At the time of the incident the offender was wearing a grey singlet with dark grey shorts and white sneakers.

“Police urge anyone with any information to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
