Alice Springs Police have arrested a 45-year-old woman following the death of a 52-year-old man in what is believed to be a domestic incident.

“Police were called to a residence in Eastside shortly after 6pm this evening where they located an man with a stab wound to the upper leg,” Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said.

“The man’s partner was present at the time and has been taken into custody.”

Investigations are continuing.
