Aggravated Assault Charges - Anula

NT Police have charged a 28-year-old man in relation to a domestic incident which occurred in Anula on 28 April.

Detective Senior Sergeant Tanya Woodcock said General Duties Police, Tactical Response Group and Dog Operations Unit were called out to a disturbance at the residence at approximately 7.30pm.

“It is alleged the 28-year-old male produced a weapon and made threats against another person.

“The alleged offended then left the residence before Police arrived.

“Uniform Police and investigators from Crime Command conducted searches and patrols, as well as asking the public for assistance in locating this man.

“He was arrested without incident in a vehicle that drove out of a residence in Gunn last night.

He has been remanded to appear in Darwin Magistrates Court 1 May.
