Northern Territory Police have been alerted to an absconder from a prison work program in Alice Springs.

Justin Forrest, 36, was in prison for traffic offences, and is not considered a risk to the public. He was undertaking gardening work at the Ross Park Oval when he absconded around 3:00pm.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is encouraged to call Police on 131 444.
