Strike Force Trident Detectives have charged an 18-year-old male in relation to an unlawful entry at a fast food outlet in Coconut Grove.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said the alleged offender unlawfully entered the establishment early Sunday morning and stole two bottles of soft drink.

“Police allege at the time of the incident that the male was carrying a pillow and plastic toy handgun.

“Detectives arrested the male yesterday morning at a residence in Ludmilla and charged him with, criminal damage, unlawful entry, stealing and possess a prohibited weapon.”

He will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court on 2 October.
