A 21-year-old Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) associate will appear in Darwin Magistrates Court today in relation to an unlawful entry, theft of firearms and possession of anabolic steroids.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said Police allege the offender unlawfully entered an apartment on Wood Street on Wednesday, 22 October.

“Police allege the offender stole two firearms and ammunition. It is also alleged that he caused about $4,000 worth of damage by smashing a television and destroying a bed.”

Detectives from Strike Force Trident arrested the man on Saturday and charged him with:

Unlawful entry

Criminal damage

Stealing

Possession of schedule 2 dangerous drug (anabolic steroids)

He was remanded in custody to appear in court today.

“Detectives will continue to actively target anyone who engages in this illegal activity,” Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said.
