A 17-year-old male will appear in Darwin Youth Justice Court today in relation to a series of unlawful entries in Nightcliff.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said Police allege the offender unlawfully entered nine apartments between 22 and 30 September.
“The offender allegedly stole around $40,000 worth of property including fishing gear, car keys, cigarettes, cash and four vehicles. All four vehicles have since been recovered by Police.”
Strike Force Trident Detectives arrested the 17-year-old at a residence in Tiwi on Saturday and charged him with:
Aggravated unlawful entry (x9)
Stealing (x9)
Unlawful use of a motor vehicle (x4)
Trespass
He was remanded in custody to appear in court today.
