A 35-year-old man will appear in Tennant Creek Magistrates Court in relation to drug offences following a traffic apprehension yesterday.
Acting Sergeant Paul Parkanyi said Police stopped a vehicle on the Stuart Highway, eight kilometres south of Tennant Creek, at around 5:30pm.
“A search of the vehicle was conducted and 106 grams of anabolic steroids, five grams of a white powdered substance and around 100 unused syringes were allegedly located in the car.”
He was arrested and charged with:
Possess schedule 2 drug – trafficable
Possess a precursor to a dangerous drug
Possess thing to administer dangerous drug
He was remanded in custody to appear in court today.
