A 37-year-old female will face court today charged with the stabbing of another woman in Alice Springs yesterday.

Southern Watch Commander, Acting Senior Sergeant Drew Slape said just after 6am Police responded to a reported altercation at Hidden Valley camp.

“Upon arrival, a 40-year-old female was located by police with stab wounds to the leg and back

“She was conveyed to Alice Springs hospital in a serious but stable condition

“A 37-year-old female was arrested at the scene and has been charged with unlawfully causing serious harm.”
